Zillertal Arena
WINTER FEELINGS - our House is centrally situated for skiing in the Zillertal Ski Areas:
- Zillertal-Arena (largest ski area in the Zillertal valley: Zell, Gerlos, Königsleiten, Wald, Krimml, Hochkrimml). In about 6 minutes by car. Hiking area in summer.
- Zillertal 3000 (Horberg, Penken, Mayrhofen,Finkenberg, Tux) Ski area and in Summer Hiking Area with many Trails in every difficulty. In about 8 minutes by car.
- Hochzillertal-Hochfügen (Kaltenbach, Hochfügen) together with Hochfügen, one of the most popular ski resorts in Tirol. In about 10 minutes by car.
- Spieljoch Comfortable ski resort, popular with famiies and children. In about 15 minutes by car.
- Hintertuxer Gletscher. Skiing for 365 days directly on the glacier. Unbelievably great views. In about 45 minutes by car.
The ski bus en route to the Zillertal Arena stops within walking distance of our house. Cross country skiing: only a 3 minues walk to the slope. Sledding, ice skating, curling, indoor tennis ... here in Zell.

Zell im Zillertal
SPRING/SUMMER/FALL: Ideal starting point for Cyclists (no matter whether with the Racing Bike or along the Ziller - 31km). Outside the valley to Rattenberg or to Kramsach with its Lakes. You can do OUNTAIN BIKING, CLIMBING, WALKING, RUNNING, everything is possible.
- Via Verrata "Talbach" in proximity (about 5 min. walk) for families with children and for beginners (various sectors!).
- We are "Genuss Active" Member: Varied hiking, wellness, sports and cultural program
- Family Holidays: for children pony rides on request.
- Every childhood is a time of wonder and enchantment. In the Spruce Tree Castle children and their families, together with the little Spruce Sprites, can discover that magic again.

That is the Zillertal Arena, which encompasses the villages Zell and Gerlos in the Tyrolean Ziller Valley as well as the villages Wald/Königsleiten and Krimml in the adjacent Pinzgau district in Salzburg.
